I've been singing along to scales on my guitar as a method of training my voice. Despite this being at a very low volume, I feel straining in my throat. I'm not singing super high, only up to the C5 on the E string, which is pretty easy to do in falsetto. But the strain is still there. How do I get rid of this?
P.S. Is it normal that I can sing like an octave higher in my chest voice at full volume compared to my speaking voice?
