I don't understand. I have all the makings of a /mu/core record, and yet I am completely forgotten. I'm critically acclaimed, I came out in 2009, lots of people have deep emotional connections to me, and none of it ever mattered. No one has mentioned me in years, almost a decade. You've left me behind.

Why don't you love me? I don't understand. What am I doing wrong?

We're no longer depressed, just horny. We don't need you anymore.

I'm sorry, but you've aged like shit and I no longer loved you. I used to cry to you in the fetal position all the time, but that was in 2011 when I was 13 years old and just discovering music. At the time, I thought you were the deepest, most moving thing ever released. Now...now I look at you and cringe. Your lyrics are hamfisted, your metaphors are garbled and vague, your vocals are atrocious, your energy is onions as fuck, and your only strength is production. I will admit, your drone sections are still a gut-punch but the rest of you has curdled like milk. And so, you enter my mind's archive. My memories of you are pleasant and important, but I will not be revisiting you soon. I've moved on to 100 gecs now. I'm sorry.

You're like my first girlfriend. At one point I thought you'd be by my side for my entire life but now I don't think about you at all and I feel nothing when I'm reminded of your existence. You and me had our time and place but I moved on to things that were better suited for me.

/mu/core doesn’t exist anymore. This board just listens to pop music and sometimes bad black metal.

This is what happens when you try to force a meme. You couldn't make lightning strike twice, MPP was 2009 AOTY

because people are too dim to realise its about being in an emotionally abusive relationship with a crazy bitch and the breakup of the album is unironically the good end. Theres a reason he has nightmares of her coming back.

I still fucking love this album, /b/ros... The girl he's writing about reminds me of myself and most of my failed relationships. I listen to it because I find the other side of the argument interesting and also because musically I'm a huge masochist and love to cry... Also, it's sooooooooooo good musically

I was there with a friend of mine who went through so much exactly of the events of this record. It made me appreciate the record a lot more.

People only decided to hate this album because MPP faggots felt threatened by it, even though MPP is not the best AnCo album

Xx suffered the same fate
