really difficult writing them when youre self conscious, ultimately you goota write from the heart, I had some lyrics I wrote 2 years ago that made me cry just to write because they came from a place of desperation, shared them on here and I got an incredible negative response but some people can't comprehend lyrics that are personal, sometimes someone just writes "sometimes i feel very sad" yet its powerful because of its useage. The hardest part truly is writing a memorable melody that matches the words you write

I don't understand this mindset. Lyrics are literally so fucking easy. Just pour out your emotions and write down whatever you come up with on the spot that sounds good then edit them to fit in your composition with a few tweaks if necessary. You're overthinking and self-conscious. You need to just let it out
