Cool stuff, I like the laid-back atmosphere about it (always a fan of DJ Shadow influences, back when he was still good...). There are certainly an amount of originality and character to your work, Beat3 almost crosses over into dreamy electronica backed up by some heavy drumming: I'm inclined to ask for some more bass and sustain to the kick, because I feel the flat "thud" works as it is but the track could do with more? This sounds great the mix is good. I love British jangly guitars like Johnny Marr. The vox get a bit too blurred together in the chorus but I think that's what you were going for. The choruses sound too jumbled I would compress or something to make them more focused on par with the verses. Vocalist is pretty good I like the trashy drum sound.

Gonna be honest here: This kind of ADHD zoomer-core is kryptonite to me... Which is why it pains(?) me to admit that you're pretty good! The Nostalgia Is Killing Me track is accessible, catchy and still has enough rough edges and not too much polish to make it a bland snooze. The little hook at 00:40 is chef's kiss, for example! I find the vocoder vocals... questionable (not your voice, actually pretty good singing), but the effect doesn't really ruin the track in any way and what do I know, maybe that's what the kids (still) want these days. I found the lurching tempo of Babe interesting but that was apparently a cover so we'll skip that. Livestream Suicide, The Last Time and No Point are all basically mainstream smash hits, but with kindy edgy lyrics. Which is an amusing combo! And one I can imagine would tear down in a house party- or all ages show-live setting? You're simply great at writing fun and accessible songs.

This Ibiza stuff is another genre I've some minor trouble digesting, but holy hell your harmonics and melody fucking kills it! This song needs to be an at least 4-6 minutes long dance floor banger! It starts off very well with an intro built on the main "verse", and the little interlude at 00:47 is great, so I'd suggest a "breakdown" at 01:44 or something (keeping the main verse going for another minute before that isn't out of the question): Either keep the main melody, but making it half as slow while putting some bass and/or "underwater" feel/production tricks to it (tbqh I don't know shit about the actual craft behind production...), or just have some ambient droning for a while (maybe the interlude can come back over that?). The beat is really nice so that doesn't really need much fiddling with, maybe some minor adaptations if you go this route and see it fit? Then make a goddamn 2-3 minute finale out of the glorious stuff you already have, I believe in you! (￣ー￣)ゝ

In 2016, the name of Gustavo Porta-Cuesta Fuentes echoed throughout Guatemala's influent ears. A 31-year-old man, a civilian and high-ranking public official, was accused of serial murder. The brutality of his actions shocked his peers, with more than a dozen bodies found buried in the vast backyard of his home on the Guatemalan coast. The victims? Young women, whose tragic fates would remain hushed up by the political power and corruption that covered up the case.
His actions, however, could not be kept secret for long, and he was finally arrested, sentenced to death and awaiting execution by hanging, which was scheduled for 2022. As Porta-Cuesta held a high position in the government, the case was hushed up and all records disappeared, with nothing leaking to the media. Even his name was erased. Therefore, there is no information left on the web about this case.
But, in the middle of 2024, I received a folder containing several sound recordings, whose origins went back to Porta-Cuesta. The strangest thing: these recordings had nothing or little to do with the crimes itself, but rather with his other identity – that of an experimental musician. Under the pseudonym "LFC", Porta-Cuesta recorded albums of experimental music that, until then, were unknown to the public.
These recordings are disturbing, defying the conventions of traditional music and delving into unsettling territories that echo the chaos and darkness of his own life.
Although details about the original case have been erased, and even Porta-Cuesta's name has disappeared from official records, these recordings offer a window into the troubled mind of a serial killer who, it seems, was also trying to express his anguish in a completely different way.
