I've always thought it was a funny quirk about this board that so many people make bait threads that take popular records and talk shit about them in crass and flippant ways. Like what a waste of board space. Every thread should either be positive circlejerks and recommending music or constructive dialogue about an album to test consensus about a new or classic album etc. It's so uninteresting to just post "I don't like or understand this popular album" it's boring and less explorative than a positive conversation because no one is gonna change your mind and we can all enjoy what we want and dislike what we dislike. It's boring but people post this exact shit all day on here and it ruins the potential of this board. I have to scour the catalog to find an actually constructive or fun thread on here.
