Anything by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas. The album where the vocals ruin the album to most for me is Megadeth - Rust In Peace. Musically it is one of the best Metal albums ever but it is massacred by Dave Mustaine's shitty vocals. Megadeth fans are either retarded or have brainwashed themselves into thinking the vocals fit the album but they most definitely do not.

I don't like Sleep Token's vocals in general but they're usually tolerable except on Take Me Back To Eden. I don't know what happened when they were making that but he didn't sound this bad on the previous and on the next albums.

Hardcore isn't known for good vocals, but these two albums seriously push that to its limit. The cro mags vocalist sounds like he's doing a bad impression of a "spooooooooky" ghost and the gorilla biscuits vocalist sounds like he's goign through puberty and has a throaty squeal that is grating.
The gorilla biscuits vocals are worse. The cro mags vocals work on some of their faster paced songs like street justice and signs of the times

Hardcore punk and indie live and die by bad vocals. I can't qualify what makes good vocals in these genres. Lots of vocalists I enjoy who are objectively terrible. But when I listen to local indie or hardcore band to decide whether it's worth paying 10 bucks to go see them, 90% of the time I'm like wow this guy/girl sounds insufferable.

Anyways to answer the question with an artist people might recognize the first that come to mind as particularly grating are Genesis P-Orridge, Alex G, and any prog or classic metal guy who does the whiny high pitched shit like in Judas Priest or Rush. Keep in mind I think Boredoms and Ghedalia Tazartes are GOOD vocally so my opinion is very much an opinion.
