The only album of the genre, or any of the bands members that I like, yet it's one of my favourite albums of all time.

Why is it so good?

Not my cup of tea, although it wouldn't annoy me to listen to them. Very talented, just not me.

The only really good song by a band : https://youtu.be/I8KybBItwL4?si=fZkjRCeVHfKlC-6E I don't really like talking heads, but damn, this song is amazing.

Energetic live performance, inventive songwriting that perfectly straddles the prog/punk line, beefy production with very tasteful use of effects.

the production is such a strong part of the album and the fact that omar said he thinks it ruined the album only proves that the album's greatness is a complete fluke

I still have no idea what he meant by this, considering he uses the similar kind of techniques all the time on the TMV records.

maybe 20 years ago, i'd say they're more of an example of what happens when hip gen x-ers get old. they're all crabby and pissed off about anything and really get into politics for some reason, i thought it was ironic at first

no idea either, omar jerked himself off in the interview where he said that saying he had the old mixes lying around and if he really was passionate about it, he would have released them by now
