i dunno if it really counts but I hung out after a David Byrne concert to meet the guy. He came out and was like "I'LL BE BACK" and then ran to his bus. After like 20 minutes or so he came back and signed autographs and took pics. I got my photo with him and couldn't work the camera cause it was a new phone and he laughed at me.

He looks like Paul McCartney's down on his luck retarded brother who got rejected from that music college that Miles Teller's character enrolled in during Whiplash. So he took up a career as a bookie masquerading as an artist. That's why he shook Bob Dylan's hand, cause he's just trying to make money off him like the Jew he is
Jew to Jew it's all just a grift from the naive stoned patrons that go to Bob Dylan's mumbling ass shows where he can't enunciate Jack shit
Like he had a stroke multiple times or something

Van Halen (gary cherone era) at a meet-n-greet before the concert.
Gary was nice but super awkward/anxious vibe.
Eddie was not as thrilled to meet me as I was to meet him.
Alex and Mike were cool as fuck. Actually stood there and shot the shit with me for a couple of minutes before the group picture.

Pictures of old white lady feet
And Thicc ass latinas in their mid 30s
BB was a freak, but real fuckin cool. We'd sip expensive whiskey and talk about the wild sexcapades from our youth all afternoon
He told me he once had a gig in 88' in Duluth, MN where this 35 year old lady butt ass naked went up to him on stage and made out with him, only to drag him back stage ending the show so she could blow him. He played about 45 minutes that night but said the orgy lasted all night long til 6 AM when he had to pack for Detroit.

I met Alice Cooper on the way down to the parking garage of a London hotel about 10 years ago, said hello and had a very brief chat.
A couple of years before that I met Sasha Grey at a club in Ibiza where she was DJing in the VIP "room", which was really just the roof. I spoke to her for a while after her set but didn't realise who she was at first, then halfway though the conversation it clicked and I got all awkward. I was out of my mind on cocaine at the time so fuck knows what she thought of me. I offered her some but she said no. I know shes not really a musician but I wanted to tell the story.

I used to work as a rookie sound tech/stage hand for a music venue. Most of my shifts were just unloading in the morning, and loading after the show. I didn't normally get the chance to actually talk to the performers, but one time Artimus Pyle was headlining. This is one of the drummers of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and was one of the plane crash survivors. I didn't work there long, but he was one of the few headlining musicians I saw help out unloading gear from the truck. This was in 2016, so the guy was about 68 years old too. I won't claim to be the biggest Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, but he's still a legend in the music industry/history.

I saw Micheal Gira at a grocery store in New York yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
