He just loved his mom. Extremely close to her, and he lost his mind a bit when he was sent to the Army overseas and his mom died at home. After that, he wasn't really the same. Didn't do the energetic rock he was first known for. Just had that brief 68 comeback special, but he was slowly ruining himself with pharma and other shit till it finally put him down.
