Early 2000s post-grunge/alternative rock some kinda mix of Seether/Cold/Three Days Grace. I've posted here a handful of times as I move through my musical journey, instrumental quality I never worry about but I'd appreciate input on vocals. Still trying to get reverb figured out. Static noise in the beginning is intentional I feel like it added some moody flavor to the chords. Roast me if you want, I do not get better by only being complimented and I acknowledge this.

Need to work on the drums for the second verse and tweak the bassline that runs throughout most the song. I also think I didn't really leave room for a vocal melody, that's what the synth is a placeholder of during the verses but still, making songs is hard and I've been stuck for 6 months, just hit a brick wall. Might scrap the whole thing actually.

It's cool. The production sounds clean & well made, I really expected some sort of distorted/screamed vocal hook when you said "in the style of suicideboys" though. I believe thinking outside the box to include more wild hooks in general would benefit this. I would try to work the fantasy/dark element of the artwork into the music more. As it is, it kinda floats in a pretty saturated space.

Not sure if you're the guitarist or the vocalist here. The vocals feel like they're juuuuuuuuuuuust slightly off time sometimes, like if you play an old record and it just happens to be worn slightly. It is odd, the first verse lines are a bit slow and the second verse feels slightly too fast. Chorus could use some grit in the voice.
Guitar tone is nice, the lead in the solo has a very good gain level and the slide to begin sounds nice and juicy. Seems like the band's tone is pretty well dialed in too, not sure the amp/cab or vst used but it's basically an exact replica of their tone. Can't hear the bass much but that may be a stylistic choice, personally feel drums could be a bit louder.
It's really good, I don't want this to give the impression that it isn't; I'm just nitpicking based on how I hear it. I've been hearing this song for 20 something years so when hearing it covered my brain picks out anything that seems different from how Brad and the band sound.
