Muse was, is and always will be, better than coldplay by millions of miles. that said, Absolution was their magnum opus, they still made amazing albums after that (The Resistance etc...) but they can't just remain stagnant, like everything else in life, they change/innovate, just like Bowie did back in the 1970s. is like complaining to Heroes/let's dance Bowie "why aren't you releasing more ziggy stardusts ?, you should go back to glam rock !"

Nah coldplay still had some moments after muse became totally irrelevant. Adventure of a Lifetime and Hymn for the Weekend were well suited for the changing trends.

Ultimately, Chris Martin has a far more tolerable voice.
