what are concert organizers going to do once all the rock gods die off and the only people left will be old rappers who are considered irrelevant and lame for being old and post wall hag Taylor swift
bet the music industry thought letting rock die wont come back to bite them
The New Guard will have to find new things to write about simply
>>127076288 (OP)Maybe we will end up going back to the beginning before music recording was invented and technology will make everything eat itself. I dont see how things will sustain itself once AI gets out of control. Or maybe it'll just kill us all. Maybe by 2040
Just looking at the top rock bands list right now
The queen Adam lambert thing will probably end any day now
Arctic Monkeys could possibly be around for another 3 decades
The Linkin Park tribute band could possibly be around for 2 decades more
AC/DC might have one more tour in them
Rhcp maybe 10 more years
Billy Joel might not come back
Guns n Roses could probably be shitty for a few more tours
20 more years of green day
Probably a few more bon Jovi tours
One day the rolling stones will die
Maybe ten more years of train
Radiohead will probably come back
Metallica will definitely keep going for at least another decade
Maybe a few more years of Toto
Fall out boy could have 3 more decades
Maneskin could be around for a long time
A couple more decades of the script
A couple more decades of the killers
Probably a couple more decades of the foo fighters
And we'll see how long Oasis lasts this time
>>127076288 (OP)>bet the music industry thought letting rock die wont come back to bite themNow that Democrats are removed from power that problem pretty much solves itself.

I'm in Nashville, we'll be fine here. But even having said that, I went to a show a few months back at a popular midsized venue that was well attended and half the band wasn't even there. The lead singer was singing like half the parts, the rest were tracks. Not trying to fake it by lip syncing to tracks, not using tasteful background sounds to spice up the life mix, I mean just blatantly performing half the time and leaving the rest up to tracks mixed just like the lead vocal mic. Didn't have a bass player but also weren't using electronic sounds for that, nope, full tracks. And the lead singer had big cans on the entire time and barely ever looked up. It was very obvious, "we're too cool to care" shit but just way over the top and not at all cool. It was just fucking sad. Anyway I'm ranting.
>>127076936Tool? eventually Danny won't be able to play near perfect he already is suffering but i still expect Adam, whose job is to milk the Tool name dry, still going on with Justin and a 50 percent capably Danny as a legacy act that plays 3 hour nights with a new singer packing them in with the ever more ridiculous light and stage show.
>>127079358Not sure about tool, I've heard mixed reviews. They could do it a bit longer probably
Maybe ppl will start appreciating modern rock gods like Ty Segall or going to decent bands like st Vincent or lcd soundsystem that'll be around another few decades
>>127076288 (OP)Same thing we're all going to be doing by then: resorting to cannibalism.
They are already trying to get the masses used to AIslop for when this happens.
>>127076288 (OP)the only way to prevent this doomed musical future is to teach zoomzooms and gen alpha how to start garage bands and tour on vans. Basic stuff, return to basics.
That shit'll finally die off and people who claim to be into music will either be forced to appreciate the actual music individually or FUKKK OFF if all they are are casuals.
