It's good, and I won't ever pretend otherwise. It's just a really beautiful and atmospheric album. Off the top of my head, Nothing Is Real, Cold Earth, Split Your Infinities are really standout tracks. Amazing production as well.

It's almost perfect, but Jacquard Causeway filtered me. It's become my go to, default BOC album though, the past few years.

Jacquard Causeway is one of the catchiest tracks. I really like it. The album reminds me a lot of 80s movie soundtracks.

Some I would say would call it outright bad, the majority would rank this overall as the worst BOC album

I dunno why, but the weird timing just rubs me the wrong way a bit.

I'm listening to it right now to verify that I like it, and..... I really do like it. It's kind of crazy how someone cannot like something you like so much.

Assuming you like the rest of the album, as I do, yeah i get.

That's funny because I used to just think this album was "ok" outside of Jacquard's Causeway. Listening to it again in recent years has me appreciating it way more. Its an excellent album. Sounds like Half Life music or some shit

Life feels like some dystopian sci fi movie now and this is the perfect soundtack. It wasn't quite so apt when it was first released. A band ahead of their time.

i listened to this album when touring around finland and it never made so much sense than in that moment. the quasi-dystopian barren frozen lands and the warm analogue warping couldn't have complemented each other better.
