I can't listen to this song anymore especially when high. It does things to me. It's insane how well he captured that feeling of youthful love and friendship.

Growing up is realizing that Billy Corgan invented music.
Everything before him was just a precursor and everything since, a cheap imitation.
Thank you Big Tunes Billy!

Gish/Siamese Dream/Mellon Collie is the greatest three album run in music.
Billy Corgan is a mile up his own ass.
Both things can be true at once.

Billy and James guitar tones are fucking legendary. I think they're the best in the era. It definitely contributes to that nostalgic feeling. There's just nothing around that time that was similar.

Billy Corgan can also slap his bare boney ass on a snare drum and fart out a better song than 99.999999999% of the music industry combined in an effort to out do him.

did my dad miss out on teen love? is that why he was mad i was piping my 13 year old gf in my room?

i literally didn't experience a single thing from that music video. i've never been to a party, or been out driving with friends, i've never caused a ruckus at a store or had romantic relationships. i didn't even have access to a car until this year at 22, but at this point i have no friends to do anything with. i do everything alone, to the point that i fear i've lost the ability to connect with other humans from being in solitude for so long. when i do go out with people i just feel deeply uncomfortable, like i don't belong or like this isn't right.
is this really how people lived? they didn't just rot in their bedroom from 12-20 years old?

I think most people have never caused a ruckus in a store (although I have personally at a gas station a few times) but all the rest is pretty standard normie stuff for the 80s and 90s.

I didn't drive til 23 but my mates did long before me; we used to drive around getting stoned and throwing eggs at people. I didn't have a relationship til 32 though because I was the sperg in my group.

nobody cares faggot.
but anyways, billy irl seems to hate all his old associates, so it's just a dumb song that tries to romantacize youth, even tho when he was living it, he probably just constantly bickered with all the people he was around like most people that age do.

The mistake is looking for something to replace those lost moments.
As you see there's no one around. He's right. Shit's gone and nothing replaces it...you end up chasing mirages.
