Man and women select their partners, but differently. Again, google the Pareto principle applied to relationships. 80% of women choose between only 20% of men (which are considered by women the top of the sexual market). And only this top, these 20%, that can really choose between 80% of women. This difference is natural to a degree, but has gotten harder (for men) in the last years.

I'm not talking about sleeping around (this is another discussion), but about how they choose their partners. It's their "fault" for the existence of incels, yes. But I don't have a position on how and what couples should form (that is, maybe it is "ethical" for women to choose partners this way anyway). The point is that it's generally them that cause this phenomenon (the existence of incels) to happen, not men.

Not simply "one guy over the other". Choose from 20% of the guys over choosing from all of the guys. Again, maybe this "should" happen anyway. But they are responsible for it. I'm not necessarily trying to make a moral judgment of dating someone higher than you in the sexual market. I'm just saying it happens, and that women are for the most part responsible for it, and that that's one of the main causes of the existence of incels.
