I never became fond of Screaming... besides its title track, always liked Defenders more and I suspect Priest do too. What to me seems peculiar is that whenever Metal Hammer brought up Sin After Sin, either as a review of a reissue or a review of Priest's history, they always downplayed it for its mixing/production, when in reality it's the first album where they have realised themselves. And although I grew up with Stained Class and grew to love it very quickly, I always skipped Exciter, although now that I think of it I miss it a bit, might play it later.
