The s-t wasn't bad, well enough ambient by all means, but not really something that stands out too much: Ok to have on in the background, but not something I'd listen to again? That Collider thing was a different beast altogether! The harmonies draw you in right away and the nice little spicings of glitch noise keeps the attention from wandering. Truly great stuff!

This was nice! Not my genre nor cup of tea really, but the melodies and chord progressions were pleasant and original. You have a good voice for this stuff and the heart and emotion are in the right place for this kind of music. The ending to Avenues was absolutely fantastic... and that might be my only complaint about the EP: It felt off having The Loch, a rather mainstream (arena) pop single, as a followup to that and ending the EP on it? Don't get me wrong, Loch was a great song but... a little too upbeat lol? I'd rather have seen it as a first or second track, to draw in the average listener, and then let the pain and heart ache of traditional Americana fully bloom. You've got some really good stuff here anyhow, top tier for sure.

This is an awesome release, and I'm saying that as someone not particularly fond of the style of music you guys are playing: The first seconds of Mizkin made me anxious about twee pop but the organ and funky bass laid those worries to rest and as soon as the groove hits at 00:59 you know this shit's gonna be fire. Swamp Puppies has a really nice catchy structure that hooks you along, and even makes me overlook the vocals: Not that your singer is bad, quite the opposite in fact, just a personal preference for instrumental grooves. The chorus and backing vocals are amazing though. Desire Path really brings forth that progressive (funk) rock where you guys are at your best imo, and has the vibe of becoming an anthem? The Vessel of Brass is groovy af and an excellent finisher.
Fine work that you should all be proud of, and best of luck finding gigs and bringing your songs to an audience, because this is great music to drink expensive and fanciful drinks to. Cheers!
