I actually think Sloop John B fits on the album because the song preceding it is "Let's get away for a while" so you can kind of imagine the protagonist of the album and his girl go on a shitty trip that only breaks them up more to where he has to go full melodramatic with "God Only Knows" to try and keep her only for her to still break up with him by the end of the album. But otherwise it really doesn't fit
