While parts of RYM feel like utter slop nowadays there's still some really good lists/reviews/stuff being produced by the community and that's not even mentioning the site's chart functionality which is imo still good (I miss bottom charts though). A lot of the subcultures on the site aren't for me but it's nice to see people passionate about something in a positive way. Maybe I'm just jaded that so much of the internet now seems like ragebait and slop, RYM feels like a link back to the earlier days of it, no matter how much it's changed
