A lot of stuff I like here: Don Caballero, Flood, unwound, hanl, Tim Hecker, Yellow Swans, Death Grips, Boredoms, Spiderland. I'll look at some of the albums I don't recognize.
Check out Planning for Burial - Below the House and Belong - October Language.

Zguba - Znoj

Essential chart-core chart. Love Nico, Grouper, Suicide, Midori. Like Flood, Rith White, Henry Flynt and Yamashita Trio. Need to relisten to Orchid. Prefer earlier Boredoms and Coil. Need to listen to NSB and Moss Icon. Don't like Christoph Babalon, Death Grips, HaNL, DiJ. Geogaddi used to be a favorite; should revisit it.

>>127241293
Haven't listened to any of these except the ones I commented on in the OP and Sakura which I love. I like Tim Hecker. Saw him live but haven't listened to that release.

>>127241350
Partial to Destroyer, Sade, Stars of the Lid, Red. Yellow Swans and Leonard Cohen bore me. Autechre is cool. I'm an Ambient 4 guy. Somehow haven't listened to Let's Get it On. Don't know the rest.

>>127242141
Love Deceit, otherwise I've listened to about 75% of your chart and found it between okay and not great. Use to love Caretaker but he does nothing for me any more. Good picks for Coil. SH3 soundtrack is great.

>>127242303
Don't care much for anything I've heard on here.

>>127245137
Love Grouper. Good pick for Francoise Hardy. Dislike Street Sects, Big Black and Suburban Lawns. Geek the Girl is pretty good. Best Hole album. Should listen to Backwards. Some album covers here calling out to me but it's probably a trick.

Sometimes people are too far down the niche music rabbithole, y'know? A lot of good albums here, but I don't think the average person could listen to more than 5 minutes of any of these. Except for JD maybe.
>>127241293
I think i saw your chart in a previous thread, and I already told you how based NIIC is.
>>127241350
Thoughts on Joni Mitchell? I feel like you would love her based on some of the albums here, but she's popular enough to where you've probably heard some of her stuff already.
>>127242141
Ween! And Joy Division! I'm actually about to buy a physical copy of unknown pleasures.
>>127242303
QOSTA self-titled is weird, I rarely see people prefer it over any of their 2000s records. Cool pick though. And Bowery electric are super underrated.

Nice, best Autechre, best Nick Drake, really good Jobim. Someone rec'd Talkshow Boy to me literally today, taking this as a sign from the universe to really check him out

>>127245601
Very nice, also stellar Jobim record. Have not listened to that LSD March album in years, thanks for reminding me it exists, gotta give it a spin again soon.
Have you listened to any of the later Tujiko Noriko records? Her "My Ghost Comes Back" (2014) is gas

>>127242303

>>127242141
Very nice, extra dubs for Plux Quba. For dark/wintry stuff, I'd recommend Rustic Bullshit by Talons from my here chart

Have you listened to Rockin' With Wanda? Fujiyama Mama is great. I like 50s rock'n'roll but I don't really know anything outside of the canon. Jerry Lewis Live at the Star Club, Chuck Berry, Gene Vincent, the list goes on..

Your taste is intriguing, lots of albums I don't usually see in these threads. I'm guessing you're in your late thirties/early fourties ? Yeah listen to Let's get it on, it's so smooth. I need to listen to Faust again.

>>127248303
Good point about Joni Mitchell, I also have felt like she's exactly the kind of artist I "should" enjoy, but everytime I listen to her I'm a little disappointed. I'll give her another spin.

>>127249333

this was my monthly scrobbles

looking for: more rhythmic noise, preferably power electronics influenced stuff. already know Haus Arafna so don't recommend me that. more speed metal like Rage with power metal elements. I'll tell you if I know them already. and finally, good lesser known proto-punk/70s garage would be nice. and maybe some classical music that's trolly/mean spirited like Satie.
