Is Helter Skelter a metal song?

Yes, not the first one ever, but maybe of the first 10

It's a decent blues jam with some Stooges/Velvet Underground leanings, though I guess you can call it that if you're retarded and equate metal to guitar distortion. I don't know why Beatlesfags bragging about their "influence" always point to this song when She's So Heavy exists

It's heavy but not metal, more in line with what was gonna come in punk and later noise rock really.

What's with all this revisionism? Blues Rock was starting to get heavier and heavier but Sabbath was the definitive point when heavy rock became heavy metal. Nobody played like that before them

I can remember back in 2016 when trolls like Boyband Fag didn't come around shitting up Beatles threads, and comparing them to shit bands like One Direction.
Those were better times.

It sounds like Garage Rock to me.

Nah, that was way more punk than heavy metal.
The Ox is too chaotic, and unbridled.

No, it's just Beatles fans who want to attribute more credit than credit is due
It's a hard rock song.

This is just heavy psych. Nothing like Sabbath.

It was definitely the hardest rocking song released up to that point, or at least I never saw anyone come up with something that rocked harder
