Not really.
But no ones really a fan of or enthusiastic about music any more, it doesnโt have the cultural or personal relevance that it used to. For casual listening by people who don't mind too much what theyโre actually listening to and use music primarily as background while they do something else, streaming services make a lot of sense. Sure, they have to listen to adverts every couple of minutes but its not like they were paying much attention to the music anyway, so I assume they mostly tune out the ads as well. Like I say, its just background noise.
