not even. JPJ was a session player which is how he knew Jimmy but both Plant and Bonham had barely been in a studio before but they were best blokes from their hometown. Robert got John in the band.

also it's interesting that they had nearly no drama whatsoever among the bandmembers
they all seemed to be friendly, which is unusual for such a huge act, and considering they were all constantly fucked out of their minds
every other band had some sort of inner dispute or ego trip from one of their members
besides, they were all very discrete and mysterious
