Lo or Milton; who had the better songs?
Anonymous No.127305815 >>127305850
Os Povos is the best song in the album, but Trem De Doido gets close. Both are amazing songwriters, but Milton had a more lastful discography in the end.

Milton has the better discography for sure and he had some chunes on here but Lo's songs reached higher highs imo. Trem De Doido is too good

It's one of the very few songs that has make me cry in my entire life, so I respect your take.

Lô's songs are outstanding, but Milton had San Vicente, Ao Que Vai Nascer, Cais, Tudo Que Você Podia Ser, Nada Será Como Antes...
he's untouchable

Wrong. Milagre Dos Peixes didn't even have Lo on it and it's the better album. Cais, San Vicente, titletrack, Os Povos and Lilia are all highlights. Um Girassol Da Cor De Seu Cabelo is one of the weakest songs and gets overrated solely for the dated classical arrangements.

Brazil was a dirt poor dictatorship back then
only way you could get live footage was if you appeared on tv
there are a few videos, though

Lo is responsible for the best (O Trem Azul) and worst (Paisagem De Janela) songs on it, Milton is more consistent

the chorus is good but almost sounds like some 80s AOR and the clip clop drums are cheesy as fuck. I can't really think of anything off the rest of the album I actively dislike in that way
