Yes. I lived in Korea for a long time and the jealousy was real. In my office the white women couldn't stand the attention that the Korean women office workers would get. Often accuses them of getting work done or wearing excessive make up. I would also wager that at least 90% of the women I worked with were dumpy, overweight, and dressed like mennonites.
