I wanna ride the wave again, when I first heard these Nirvana records in elementary school, Nevermind and IU where tops, skating around. But nothing was cooler and made more sense than bumping Bleach from the side lines. It was reactionary to spite these popular albums, but Bleach had everything right there and it happened on the edge of the 80's. Despite what Kurt said, Bleach is best, or at the very least held amongst his best work. He had no idea how incredible his work was until he was caught up in it

Incorrect projection baby Zoo. I bought the cassette with my first gig as a referee and working at a green house. It was when Ryan showed Bleach CS off after Nevermind on the bus ride. All us kids had a copy by the first week of Teen Spirit on the charts. Nobody wanted to be posers.

You are here.

Is this meme math? Regardless, I think the other poster's point stands. Kids today listen to Sabrina and Taylor because they're popular artists making music today, but back in the 90's kids loved Nirvana. Do I think that means it's "music for children"? It's music with very broad appeal. Thinking you're special for liking them beyond a casual interest isn't as significant as you think.
