Sad to see it happen but understandable seeing Dave went from self-destructive retard to normal man and even dealt with cancer, being old and having run of +3 decades. Not bad considering he made an entire band from pure seething hatred and made it reach legend status... and what a fucking incredible output it had at times.

On the other hand I laugh hard since this only confirms what metal fans can't deal; the notion that metal is dead just like rock, remove the good bands and you're only left with shitty bands and "fans" that are non ironic walking cliches. Imagine when Maiden retires; metal will lose its David Lee Roth

it's going to be his worst album yet

my issue with megadeth since basically UA and onwards is how god fucking awful the mixing is. everything sounds so overproduced and generic, no grit.

'We'll Be Back' off the latest album is a good example where there are some decent riffs but the mixing is terrible.
