Song Rating & Reviewing Time
It's Song Review Time (And I Should Probably Say Something Else But Whatever)

Let's try to keep these at the ten minute mark or shorter, but otherwise post whatever the hell you want.

I'll let the first non-OP guy link the first track.

"ApoCalypso" is a fun enough title to describe a silly enough song. On paper, a Balkan filtered Caribbean pop track seems like the lowest circle of hell. It's surprisingly pleasant. His deep-ish vocals fit well enough. I guess. Probably worth listening to again. 7/10

Its a little saccharine sweet for my taste, but I like the song overall. The production sounds like someone who is used to mixing dance pop records so it clashes a bit with the pop punk kinda vibe so it almost ventures into parody. overall a pretty good eruo take on the american sound 6/10

Really solid track, particularly with those lyrics and vocals. Seems interestingly reminiscent of 1990s and 2000s era indie rock and power pop releases in a way that I personally like. I don't want to nitpick things. 8/10

Decent-ish pop punk track that transplants the Blink-182 sound to a British context in which it all mostly works. Nothing special. Yet I feel like not being critical. I'd listen to it again as well. The fact that this is less than three minutes and thirty seconds long helps a ton, honestly. 7/10

She's always been a legend. This particular track feels rather weak, though. Lyrics are painfully... eh. I can't pretend that going "Good morning, sun!" without irony plays well either then or now. And the aggressively mediocre instrumental backing doesn't help, even if it (thank God) picks up after over half the song is over. Difficult one. 5/10

Everything about this screams "filler". Also, what the fuck does the line "He just ate his cocktail napkin?" even mean? Even as a metaphor?

As far as nonsense with decent vocals that sets up a jazzy blue-eyed soul atmosphere goes, it's fine. This is music for standing in a hotel lobby asking for somebody to fix a broken lamp, though. Not something to focus on. Eh. I can't criticize it too much, though, because Boz Scaggs still has that legendary singing talent. 6/10

Keith Moon's decision to literally forecast his own death on this album cover will never not astonish me. Let alone how everybody else in the group allowed that choice to happen. As far as goofy and sloppy pop rock goes, still, this is not as terrible as it would seem on paper. I mean... it's a protest against "filler" from famous bands that sounds like "filler" from a famous band. Which works logically. Yet still sounds tedious. Yeah. It's metaphysically appealing to a degree, especially with that level of cynicism. Not worth listening to more than once (and probably not even once). 5/10

How terribly mediocre this is... is almost like offensive. This sounds like AI generated music. Yeesh. Couldn't listen to the whole thing. 2/10

This was a shitty novelty song when the Marcy Brothers first recorded it, and it got no better what Billy Ray Cyrus picked it up. And time hasn't changed a thing. This always was horseshit from the word "go". Basically. 1/10

I know that this is deliberately intended to be incoherent noise just made to be offensive and make people angry, and in that the guys succeeded. Still is worthless. 1/10

The shtick of being a hard rock and/or punk rock Donald Trump would probably wear thin past something like the third song ends, but by itself this is tolerable. Not actually that funny. Still... eh. Kind of harmless either way. 5/10

Pretty great ballad. It drags somewhat, but she still has an iconic voice that suits quite a lot of things. 8/10
