K-pop has always been about creative expression and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Pop music. Sure, there was money involved, but that was always a means to the real end of creating amazing art for people to enjoy. But then Hybe comes in and triea to corporatize everything and make it some paint-by-numbers imdustry. And even worse, they do it by ripping off one of the most unique and interesting groups of all time. If we love Kpop for what it should be and can be and always was, then we can't help but feel disgust about Illit, even if we love the girls or kind of enjoy the music.
