I did a podcast with a kid from Florida. I'm a kid living in what they call South Detroit, Canada. We would work nearly 15 hours straight some days. It was just a free-form thing, with him & I going "ayyyy" back & forth to one another, pretending that the line shorted out with muted gaps, until we both cracked up. These recordings, which took place [if I recall correctly] through Skype from around September 2011 until December or so 2011, would go on to have their content and delivery reworked as lines in the TV shows BoJack Horseman, Rick & Morty, Portlandia, Comedy Bang! Bang!, and Brad Neely's Sclopio Peepio.
After what felt more like collecting evidence than entertaining for a few hours of Netflix, I even found Tom Green spitting a joke to Norm Macdonald that I wrote. So I tried to tell a nurse this in hospital, and she was all, "checkmate, only celebrities use Skype. Oprah uses Skype." So in order to leave the hospital, I had to agree to take schizophrenia meds for "taking cues from the television" and I lost connection with my third eye, which was a "Don't know what you've got 'til it's gone" thing, and I developed voices in around 2018. So like, at a point, I tried to die, and wiped a bunch from the web.
