Irrelevant. Both geniuses in different ways. Paul for craft, John for attitude. Also they really wouldn't have been so massive without George and Ringo. It was all about the whole package.

I'd actually say Macca was a better songwriter as well. Just had no filter and very little edginess (apart from the pro-IRA bit).
