Thoughts on the new NIN single?

Personally, I like that NIN is finally making a real "Song" that can be played to actually listen to after going down their pseudo-experimental route with stuff like Bad Witch and Ghosts.
But I wish there was that more "organic" feel from TDS and TF. He's really leaning into that EDM feel which is obivous since it IS a Tron movie. A lot of the heart of his albums came from the gritty sampling though.
He abandoned all of that in favor of synths and more traditional rock & pop elements for some reason.
He's 60 now so this might be his last album, which sucks since it's ending on an EDM movie soundtrack rather than what could've been an amazing return to form.
Good for him for getting that disney money though, and charging $300 - $600 per ticket to his concerts.
