they basically took bluegrass but changed the 1-4-5 to a 2-5-1 or 1-6-2-5 and added drums and walking bass. i still like bluegrass because it's more melodic than just wanking scales and about playing with other people instead of everyone setting up for a solo that doesn't really make sense within the context of a song.
