Much of modern Aphex Twin songs have this weird quality that it sort of sounds like just sound like random noises, even compared to drukqs. Like I don't think there is that sense of atmosphere and melody.
Syro felt kind of like a transition into that, although I still like it and minipops is one of my favs but there's a distinctly less melodic and atmospheric character.
