i have been trying to find this album for something like a decade now. all i've had to go on was "athletic japanese woman on a road in front of a bridge album 2000s" and google was useless. i don't even remember how i knew it existed in the first place, thank you for posting this.

CD and tapes are based compact physical format, but lps for mixing is something else nothing come close

CDs are even cooler if you have a discman. I’d burn more music onto CD-Rs if my car wasn’t bad at reading them. In theory Minidisc would’ve been cool to have.

Records. I enjoy the process of it all

I own a dumb amount of CDs too but mostly for preservation/putting onto ipod years and years ago's sake.

Tapes have a great feel about them and the process of dubbing a tape is something that I think other types of media are worse off for lacking. It's also the last format where you can crack open and dick around with the machinery and have it still work and physically splice shit together and make horrible loops without a computer.

It's obviously vinyl and people who say otherwise are being contrarian for the sake of it

I used to like vinyls and while they're aesthetically nice I think CD's are ultimately the way to go. They take up less space, no extra equipment to rip it if need be, generally the cheapest option, etc.

I don't care I'm not a cringe funko pops collector, I use whatever sounds best

My sister has a cardboard box in her garage where she fumigates records she buys at thirft stores and yard sales before bringing them in the house lol. She's way cooler than me
