I genuinely don't get the hate people have for this band. They've got some genuinely good songs and people like them. Is it that they look like their music should be Black Metal and it's not? Kiss did the theatrical rock gimmick first and no one seemed to mind the fact that their image didn't match up with their lyrics. Kiss had Gene Simmons spitting fake blood and acting demonic while they talk about banging sluts. How is Ghost any different? Or is it just that if normies like it, it's bad?

The hate they get is from idiots continuing the cycle of hating any band from the rock and metal world that achieves some bigger success. And the thing is people like us see ghost as having huge success, but the reality is their success and fame palea in comparison to the likes of musicians like green day, nirvana, fall out boy, MCR, the killers, etc. normal everyday people don't know who the fuck Ghost are. People moan about rock not being popular anymore then when a band gets a little bit of success they get fucking hated on.

I feel that at their best they are about on par with classic traditional heavy metal bands like e.g. Iron Maiden. It's just that I don't care much for traditional heavy metal, so I don't care much for Ghost.
