I love how stubbornly committed they are to avoiding remixing the entire pre-Rubber Soul albums

I wonder if Carnival of Light is finally seeing the light of day.

This is weird. Everything is just a little too clean and dry.

I'm going to be ecstatic when Paul is finally dead so he can stop raping the corpse of the Beatles.

Or giving the mono versions a wide release.

They just rereleased the mono box set.....exclusively on vinyl. Tough shit, spotify zoomers, you're stuck with two-track stereo forever.

its the four families keeping a lid on it. when paul & yoko go then its gonna explode, more & more stuff will be pumped out.

Releasing a box set for £600 once per decade isn't "wide release"

Where the fuck is carnival of light? We know it sucks shit, there's no need to be coy. At this rate we'll get it when they're all dead in some underwhelming boring release that makes the morning news

Honestly sounds way better than the garbled 95 version. I'm looking forward to Real Love. After hearing Now and Then a few years ago, I'm not against using AI as a tool to polish existing songs, as long as they don't get stupid with it and release real AI created slop under the Beatles name.

Remember when Get Back was a huge success and everyone loved it and Peter Jackson had 10 more Beatles archive projects lined up that the fans actually wanted?
>Yeah sorry boss that's too expensive, the shareholders want us to shit out more low effort AI remasters and exclusive Disney+™ content

Why do people itt keep using "AI" as if it was some insult? What's exactly wrong with using it the way they have used it on Beatles material?

Isn't Carnival of Light basically just a longer Revolution 9? I'm not that bothered if I never get to hear it.

1995 is way better
John Lennon 's voice isnt all cleaned and out of tune

Revolution 9 is structured and conceptual while Carnival of Light was supposedly just random noise. Most of the people who have heard it weren't impressed.

AI mastering tools aren't as ethically dubious as LLMs for sure, but a lot of times the results are a lot cruder than old school programs, ironically enough. Every one of those AI upscaled music videos looks like complete dogshit.
