Apologies for the lazypost, I only recently got into music and I'm not even done listening to the discographies of the fucking bands I'm currently obsessed with, so I don't really know what to say about other people's grids.

I wanna get into some more modern shit, just post 2000 ig, I feel like I'm missing a lot because I've almost only explored old stuff as of now.

wow! i listened to the mad planets and john glacier albums and i really like them! especially the mad planets one it really fits the vibe of how i like the butchies, black box recorder and liz phair!
also yeah i definitely prefer female artists over male ones. in typical 4chan fashion people shit on music made by women but i totally think theyre missing out. i think female voices sound much nicer than male voices when singing. also the best duo is a female singer with a male producer, awesome stuff always comes out. take pc music for an example. also i think women are better at writing things about emotions in depth and writing about love/romance. also i really like pop and pop by females is a must over pop by men.

this chart is a good one, i wanna try out that zola jesus album. try out:
marching church - telling it like it is, throughout the borders ep
ramleh - hyper vigilance (i always recommend this album to anyone who has a swans album on their chart, every sound/era of swans from old and new is on this album alone and it's kind of insane in that regard. it also came out this year and is one of the year's best so far)
>>127479156

>>127480589
glad you love them, they're great and also catered to you because of the female vocals. i dont ever look at music through what gender/race or whatever the artist is but i do think sometimes women vocals are better than males, especially in the synthpop field. women can indeed do it, too.

Found that ariel pink rekkerd at the second hand store the other day, it was very very random. Usually you can only expect heaps and heaps of 2000s D-tier singer songwriter/alt rock slop thatโ€™s probably been sitting in their inventory for over a decade. But this other time I could tell someone had sold his entire cLOUDDEAD collection to them (WHY? and other side projects) which was another crazy find. I always wonder what changed in someoneโ€™s life to make them do such a thing, clearly he was a huge fan

>Maybe you'll like Big Thief, Capacity is a good place to start
I listened to Two Hands and their latest album when it came out. I liked them, but Iโ€™m not really into indie folk, so I didnโ€™t dig further into their discography. Maybe I should give the one you mentioned a try, thanks!

Cool! Both are classic 80s new wave albums from my country (Argentina). Hope you enjoy them and that the language isnโ€™t a problem. Anyway, Sumoโ€™s got a few songs in English

Hey guys sorry but is the topster site borked for you all too? Weeks ago I could find albums just by searching 1 word of the band's name. Now if I want a specific album I have to type the album name instead of just searching for the band. It's kinda annoying g when you want to include multiple albums by the same artist.
