Is there a more overrated guitarist than Eric Clapton?
He made a couple decent records back in the 60s and then played nothing but momrock garbage ever since.

you know this shit post has me thinking, you never really see much written about Cream these days. I was listening to them and the virtuosity of the three really shines on every track, it's actually very insane this jazz level music was played on rock records. Hendrix was a better guitar player than Clapton for sure, but Baker and Bruce were a much superior rhythm section. Listening to Cream do simultaneous improv on Spoonful, I can't help but love how well they pull it off.
