Just got to listening. I know/hear there are some more noticeable changes to some songs

What do you Anons think?

I think we SP fans are eating good tonight

Its honestly the only SP album I really can't get into. I love the singles on it but outside of that I'd rather listen to Zeitgeist than this

I was disappointed by Adore when it came out but it grew on me. Same here but this one never did get any better.

This was the logical conclusion of sp's sound. After siamese and Meloncollie, all the college nerds expected more soft pop-grunge to fuck freshmen to. Big tunes Billy subverted every expectation
>album is UGLY on purpose
>no more whimsical love songs
>dissonance through a cranked solid state crate amp
>Fuck you AND the tasty bitch you're trying to bang
>out ziggy-stardusts Manson (mechanical animals)
>out ziggy-stardusts bowie (ziggy stardust)
>still manages to write beautiful, soaring choruses
>sp "fans" hate it

Machina is the most visceral sp album. I love siamese and ava and the rest, but how can anyone deny this album?

I'm really not into this MACHINA MYSTERY bs, at this point it's mostly ironic posting
>>127476421
This remaster takes away a little from Machina i.e removes some distorsions here and there. It's overall solid work but some things are just lost

Yes, or you can always purchase the eight-disc vinyl box set available exclusively from Billy Corgan's tea shop Madame ZuZu's at only $325 (plus shipping and handling). All sales are final.

Oh no wait, you can't. It's sold out. Better set up that Discogs alert!

Why wasn't Machina II and the extra stuff given a CD box set treatment like the previous reissues? I was looking forward to that one the most.

I always liked this album when I got into them back when I was 12, I havenโ€™t listened to it since then though. I did always really like Stand Inside your Love, I of the Mourning, and Try, Try, Try.

Just relistened for the first time in 2 years. Before I found it to be a mediocre only stay for the singles album, but now id say it was very good. Better than Adore, weaker than their prime.
