The most "obscure" album I have in my top 10 best albums ever, would be Bayside. Reviewing it now, I actually liked that album more than anything Black Sabbath/Ozzy, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, or even Iron Maiden, ever put out. Does it have less than 1k ratings on RYM ?, I don't know, I don't go on that site.
This thread made me realize that the vast majority of my favorite albums don't even reach 400 ratings. Many are below 100 or 50. I guess the hardcore RYM users aren't into the kind of music I care about the most.

He was talking about Chosen Lords, which is the compilation, not an ep, lol. It has just above 1k ratings. >>127479412 (OP)
Good pick, it should be up there with the other compilations, the Analord series is great. Even though it's definitely missing alot of my favourite tracks, atleast it's still handpicked, which is better than a labelmade cash grab mashup. Classics still has more ratings though oddly, even though Chosen Lords is his next full length after Drukqs and it doesn't seem like people on RYM care about Aphex's early releases that much besides SAW 85-92.

most of the analord series are mid songs that are nothing special
might as well just go for the chosen analords compilations since it pretty much has the best songs from all of these
