This guy is completely incapable of making anything good on his own. All of his good songs were written while he was in a band, either with the Beatles or Wings. Everything he's done solo is unlistenable.

He's probably the most gifted musician of the past 100 years but he gets way too cute and cheesy at times. It's such a waste of talent.

Wings is 90% solo Paul and Ram is his best album. Flaming Pie and Mccartney II are also some of my favourites, but probably every album has a few songs I like. He just had the completely normal career trajectory of doing his best work in his 20s and 30s, with the unfortunate fact that everything he does will be compared to a band near universally considered the GOAT
