I really don’t like this entry-level metal chart.
>two Metallica albums
>throwaway Ozzy solo album
>worst of Slayer’s first four albums
>US and UK centric
>ignores contributions of Germany, South America, and Scandinavia
>thrash massively overrepresented
>no extreme metal
At least throw in a Death album or Venom to represent early black metal.

I would swap one of the Metallica albums and Blizzard of Ozz with Scream Bloody Gore and Black Metal, and replace Megadeth with Ace of Spades or Nightfall to represent speed and doom metal, since there’s already so much thrash.

You don't need 2 Metallicas, especially since RtL & MoP are basically the same. Ride scores higher, though, because of Fade to Black, which can actually mean something to somebody, and was the great power ballad of its time for edgy teens; most of Master's songs are vapid, if not all.
