In a heated debate. Who had the better career post-Oasis?

Liam Gallagher, I haven't heard any of their solo stuff but Noel seems like a whiny faggot so I'm thinking THE GOATs music was better, even if realistically it probably isn't

Liam is faithful to just wanting to be a rock n roll star (his voice is made for it)

Noel (imo) secretly always wanted to step out like Damon/Blur but his musical ability and Mancunian working class identity put a self-imposed cut on this and he too went back to his musical safe ground. SOTOG was actually pretty good and more interesting but the curse of having deano fans who only want C&A stadium anthems again killed the prospect of Oasis evolving

Noel easily
First High Flying Birds album has his best songs since Morning Glory

Even as someone who vastly prefers the arrogant sneering of LG x...Noel. Since you're asking about music after all
>Broken Arrow
>If I Had a Gun
>A Simple Game of Genius
>Ballad of the Mighty I
>Revolution
>Open the Door See What You Find
and that's just off the cuff. Something like C'mon You Know is pretty good on its own but there's waaaaaay too much radio-friendly polish on it. Either way, their solo careers prove exactly why they needed each other to succeed at all

Why are these people so fucking negative and look so fucking angry all the time. Are they fucking depressed or something? They seem like deeply, fundamentally negative people to the point of it being borderline disgusting, like they're trying to poison everyones mind with their negativity. Ask them about literally anything and they'll say they hate it. I really wish they'd just stop talking or having their pictures taken ever.

They had an alcoholic father or something.

I hate it when people think that they had it worse than everybody else and use things that happened in their past to justify acting a certain way. It's like they think that you can't possibly have it any worse than having an alcoholic father, or that their alcoholic father was worse than everybody elses. Fuck them for that.

they never claimed to have things worse than others. You asked why are they always mad, and I said it was because they had a shitty dad most likely. Nobody but you made it a contest to see who has it worse.

Noel at first. Liam didn't really start a solo career at the same time as him because Beady Eye was just Oasis without Noel. When Liam began his solo career, he steadily and quickly came up to the top while Noel's career gradually fizzled out and he started performing in a much smaller venues.

Liam won.

Liam resurrected his career by singing 3rd rate Robbie Williams rock songs. Through hard hard graft & his girlfriends smarts he made himself relevant again.

Noel plodded along making songs for mums & dads. He then had his midlife crisis. Listened to Kanye & decided to go experimental. Mums & dads didn't like this, he lost his wife & lost his money.

Noel the realised he needed Liam hence his return to the retro/memory lane Council Skies.

The Oasis reunion is an amalgam of Liam's rise & Noel's fall.
