>white/east asian women are cool and contribute to internet culture
With all due respect my nigga, they don't contribute anything except tits and we don't need that online. I very clearly remember the internet in the late 90s and early 00s, especially the latter because I was a very active participant in it. The relatively few women that did use it were siloed into different forums and chatrooms, and their purpose there, when it wasn't bitching/sending contact details, was to post their tits. Everything else was run by men and it was immeasurably better. Their grand contribution to the internet was, big shocker, filling out social media pages (Face the Jury, Myspace, Facebook, all that shit) and blogs (diaries). Their "contribution" to the internet since then has predictably been in those spaces and, more recently, copying men and preying on their loneliness. We would all be better off if they were offline. Frankly, we would all have been better off if we never gave them cameras and ways to share photos and videos. But we can't put that demon back in its cage anymore, and we will suffer its consequences for as long as there is electricity. God help us. But yes, jeets do suck.

I remember when the internet was grand majority North America, western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I remember when there was no social media. It feels like a fucking dream now. It's so far away that I can say that having access to that early internet as a young teen, I only used it for the first time when I was 13, changed my life for the better. Who the hell could ever claim such a thing now? Not the least of which because there is less and less distinction between it and "offline" now. Maybe we deserve it. What I can say is that when the internet was good, it felt like the fucking Library of Alexandria. Oh well.
