Do Keyboards Belong in Metal?
My examples of keyboards being in metal bands are: Nocturnus, Children of Bodom and EmperoR.
Just comment your opinions about this.

They don't BELONG in metal, but you can make a good album with keyboards. Better that they're just used for texture or atmosphere though.

It has a lot of potential. Especially death metal has a lot of room in the upper register.

Arena rock is not metal and glam is also not metal. That’s poser shit. Did you not watch Job’s intros in arrested development?

Btw there’s good uses of keyboard in metal, COB, Opeth, Crack the Skye has limited keyboard but it’s wonderful. Also it’s sickening that there’s no mention of dream theater in this thread. /mu really has gone to shit.
