Don't worry about that yet. The important thing is just to find stuff that you like. I think a very nice entry into it is to listen to Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto (and romanticism in general). It is at the same time, in my view, one of the most beautiful things ever written in music. I like this specific version (to return to Richter and give him some love now, guy above). It's very easy to listen to and extremely affecting. I think from there you'll be motivated to simply look into it more. You can easily take hints from this specific recording (the conductor, pianist, publisher, orchestra, year, etc) to figure out trails to follow. Don't let others give you too much of a guide.
