Muse’s 2015 album Drones is a bold, concept-driven rock record that explores themes of control, dehumanization, and rebellion. The album presents a dystopian narrative centered around the idea of human beings turned into obedient, unthinking drones. Musically, it combines powerful guitars, orchestral elements, and electronic sounds, creating an intense and immersive listening experience.
It's an engaging album for fans who enjoy concept albums and theatrical rock. Its blend of energy and message makes it a distinct and memorable entry in Muse’s discography.

I feel like this album leans too heavily on repetitive themes and lacks the innovative flair that we Muse fans have come to expect.

If the likes of Olivia Rodrigo composed this as Matt Bellamy did and released it. She'd be called a truly creative genius by everyone and would be winning awards. Really... Just imagine it. And also imagine her on stage playing and performing like Matt. We would have never seen anything like it. It's all about perception. I'm fucking tired of people going easy on female popstars who pretend to be creatives and shitting on male musicians. And honestly I don't even think people realize it's being done.
