I didn't like them much when TCFSR and The Black Parade first came out, but I got some appreciation for them once that unplugged folk "stomp clap hey" style of music started getting popular. A lot of songs on the radio at the time sounded like some half-asleep dude was plunking on a ukelele on his couch, and it made me appreciate how MCR were singing their goddamn asses off even if it came off as embarrassing a lot of the time.
