Mats/Morgan improvised streams
I'm not a music guy but I listen to good music such as this:

Can you pros tell me if this is fully improvised or nut? I find it hard to believe human beings would be capable of that. They don't make a single mistake during a 72-minute session. They must have rehearsed this at least to some extent.

it's jazz. that's just how it works when you're good at playing and understand how to leave enough room for improvisation. did you ever listen to mats/morgan's collabs with that weirdo spoon guy from back in the day? it's pretty cool

Apparently there were plans by Zappa of starting a band with them on keyboards and drums and Keneally on guitar after the dissolution the 88 band, but then Zappa got the diagnose...

Zappa was overrated. I've never liked any of his songs.
Thankfully he gave us Steve Vai though.

Peak autism. Love Mats/Morgan, it's impressive considering that dude on the keys is blind and yet he always used interface-deep synths.

Savant.

I think it is Morgan who programs the synths.

Also shoutout to Morgans. beefheart obsessed brother, Jimmy Γ…gren.

Not fully improvised, I recognise at least some of the composition from their studio albums

I love this naive sentiment. This kind of music is improvised within compositional boundaries, and it's very forgiving of "mistakes." It's a long held principle of jazz that mistakes are things you steer into and make statements out of.
